For Illustration workshop at MICA we had to make a CD booklet with a cover and at least four inside pages for the song of our choice. I'm mostly into narrative illustration, so I chose The Decemberist's "Mariner's Revenge," because it is an excellent, 8 minute tale of revenge on the open seas...and being inside a whale.
 modeled for about half the characters, the others being made up (unfortunately, I'm afraid it's pretty obvious which ones I had to rely completely on my imagination for >.< )We are two mariners Our ships' sole survivors In this belly of a whale Its ribs our ceiling beams Its guts our carpeting I guess we have some time to kill |
